It is not surprising to hear that Pope Benedict wants to resign. He looks pale, tired and sick and has difficulty walking. This holy man is a walking health hazard. Why the world seems so surprised and shocked is really beyond me. Please honor this man and respect his decision. In general, all the Popes that the world has known in the past looked old, tired and sick. So please leave Pope Benedict alone and let him spent his last years praying for this world and those less fortunate. Let us hope that he will enjoy whatever time he has left to spend in peace and tranquility.
