The filming of a soap opera (sinetron) in the ICU section of Harapan
Kita Hospital should never ever have happened. Nothing is sacred
anymore. The human rights of hospital patients are now regarded as null
and void. When, if ever, will we learn the honorable behavior of
more civilized countries such as Japan?
The swiftness in which almost
all Indonesian officials, high and low, immediately go into fervent
denial mode and vehemently deny any unlawful activity (citing several
plausible and implausible reasons) always amazes me. Aside from
the sheer cowardice and a total lack of honor, it shows shallowness of
character. Such people should never be entrusted with responsible
positions. You should be fired, director and staff of Harapan Kita Hospital. By the way, how much were you paid for that particular sinetron shoot?
